Chiaradia winery is a small leading company in the world of Lucanian wines. This is because we produce wine and maintain traditions that have been handed down for several generations and, at the same time, we are also mindful of new technologies.
Located in the Roccanova region, in the province of Potenza, our company offers a rich wine production which includes, for example, the renowned "Grottino di Roccanova DOP", a wine that takes its name from the characteristic caves dug into the clay found in the area. On the other hand, our leading wine, "L'Epeo", came from an area nearby, originally founded by Epeo, where some scholars set up the city of "Lagaria", a city already famous in Roman times for the "fine wines" described by Pliny the Elder.

Our region
Chiaradia winery has come from the typical characteristics of the Roccanova region, in the province of Potenza, between the valleys of the Agri, Sarmento and Sinni rivers, an area which is known for having traditional caves dug out in the clay. This is where our highly respected wine comes to life, rich in tradition but mindful of new trends within the wine industry.
